Potocco's Centennial AnniversaryCelebrating 100 Years
Italian creativity and artisan traditions are distinctive traits of Potocco, a family-owned company founded in 1919 by Domenico Potocco. Located in Manzano, in Italy’s Udine province, Potocco’s home is the Italian Chair District. Led by Antonino Potocco, assisted by his daughters Alice and Marianna, the fifth generation of the family, the company is represented throughout the world.
From a small artisan workshop specializing in the production of chairs, Potocco has evolved over the course of its history. It has transformed itself into a significant manufacturer specializing in contract furnishings, suited for both indoor and outdoor environments. A history of excellence, and as a founding partner of Salone del Mobile trade fair, has led Potocco to collaborate with important international design firms and achieve an important role in the “Made in Italy” story of excellence.
Meticulous research that starts from prototypes, a fundamental step in the achievement of products, permits Potocco to test, change and perfect; ensuring the best result every time. Potocco continues to manage all production phases internally, including the most delicate, from hand-weaving to the processing of wood and various other materials. Potocco’s agility allows it to produce custom solutions.
Potocco’s chairs, armchairs, sofas and chaise lounges, stools, tables, coffee tables, cabinets, accessories and consoles are entirely produced in Potocco’s facility in Manzano. Potocco is committed to sourcing wood according to FSC® regulations and products are tested to ANSI BIFMA standards.
Fortified by its know-how and experience acquired in one hundred years of creating and manufacturing, characterized by the constant respect of technological research and design, Potocco’s contract projects cover the full range of activities, from hospitality to corporate spaces, from restaurants to multi-family residences.
